Remembering Harold
A lifelong dedication to martial arts, spanning an impressive 56 years of practice. His journey began at the young age of 6, when he commenced training in Judo and Aikido. Over the years, his martial arts repertoire expanded to include Wado Ryu and Shotokan Karate, shaping his adult life profoundly.

Harold Stephenson not only excelled as a practitioner but also became a distinguished figure in the UK Karate community, holding a senior officiating position within the EKF (English Karate Federation). His influence remains palpable within the Taisho-do Karate Association, where his legacy continues to resonate strongly.

Beyond his martial arts accomplishments, Harold Stephenson was known as a devoted family man, always ready to lend a helping hand to others. This spirit of generosity extended into his club Taisho-do Karate (Acorn Karate), where his presence was deeply appreciated.

Harold Stephenson's passing marked the loss of a great individual whose impact on both the martial arts world and the lives of those around him will be forever cherished and missed.
